Performance in Exhibition

MARINA ABRAMOVIC

Royal Academy of Arts - London

Retrospective exhibition of the last 50 years of Marina Abramovic's performance work.
This great, avant-garde lady opens the way to performance. She takes risks so that her art endures.
Later, when she became interested in the people of Latin America and Asia, she was inspired by the impact that the powerful nature of these regions had on her. A transformation then begins within herself. There she meets shamans and practices meditation.
Its ARTISTIC focus is then transposed to experience the link between resilience, presence, life, death.
In search of a new state of being...

For 4 months, every day, 40 artists reenact 3 performances of Marina A's work.
at the Royal Academy of Arts in London.
Marie Close is one of them.
